Sanjay started his career soon after he completed his MBA from Symbiosis, Pune

He joined Ganesh Group of Industries as a Asst. Manager - International Business for a period of 3.5 years, he was well-groomed by the company by receiving cross functional training across various divisions and geographies which was mainly aimed at providing them with a thorough experience of how the company did business. And soon after the process was over, he was responsible for Exports Business for America's and Europe and he extensively travelled from 2000-2004.

His work was so commendable that, just after giving in another one-and-half year to the company, he got promoted as the Regional Manager in November 2002. At this post, Sanjay was mainly responsible for the Market and innovative products development function wherein he went on to execute the largest re-launch of a brand across in 3 continents.

Soon thereafter he moved on with Plethico Pharmaceuticals for their new operation in US after taking over Natrol, USA. During his tenure here he was instrumental in developing the new Ayurvedic range of Products for US, Central America and Russian markets. After completing nine months on this post, Sanjay moved to Themis Medicare Ltd.

At Themis an Indo Hungarian JV, he started creating new export markets in America, South and Central America, Middle East, Japan and many South East countries. With a vision to establish foot prints of Indian Products throughout the globe it became a passion for him and he was establishing new products and markets. At that point Methyl-cobalamin was only made and exported from India from Themis. Also Simvastatin a Cholesterol lowering drug was the largest exported product from Themis and India.

Now unlike others, instead of wasting time Sanjay decided to start on its own and he started with Varion LifeSciences Pvt Ltd, where he started with some of the most innovative Natural Ingredients for Dietary Supplements from India. Sanjay was instrumental in developing Curcumin the largest selling Antioxidant natural supplement been exported worldwide from India. Other Ingredients like Coleus, Garcinia and some patented products has since been launched for US markets.

In June 2016, Sanjay took another bold step of his life, and started Vitaminhaat.com!
