3rd Annual "Slide into Summer" Raises $1,200 for Charity

CORNELIUS, N.C. - June 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Freedom Boat Club Lake Norman and Advanced Wealth Strategies teamed up to host the 3rd Annual "Slide into Summer" kickoff event at the Waterstreet Seaport Marina (17505 W. Catawba Avenue) in Cornelius on June 9th.

"About 200 people attended the free event which included live entertainment, complimentary boat rides, children's activities, barbeque and beverages," says Douglas Marion, Presenting Sponsor with Advanced Wealth Strategies.  "Raffle items and prizes were donated by many of our Freedom Boat Club members as well as local businesses.  We are very pleased to announce that $1,200 was raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolina's-Charlotte," says Jeff Weir, Franchise Owner of Freedom Boat Club Lake Norman and Lake Wylie.
