Michigan Regional Information Center, LLC Announces New Data Share Platform Utilizing RPR View™

CHICAGO - June 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Michigan Regional Information Center, LLC (MichRIC®)  today announced RPR View™ will be the new data sharing platform utilized by the members of 18 Michigan-based MLS and REALTOR® organizations.

"Moving our data sharing to the RPR Platform will provide a more secure and cost effective method of providing this service to the other MLSs," said MichRic® CEO Gary Walter. "In doing so, REALTORS® only need to learn one other system to obtain the data they need to conduct business."

Ron France, RPR vice president of industry relations, said the sharing agreement will open new doors for Michigan REALTORS®. "RPR is excited to offer the RPR View Platform to REALTOR® Associations and MLSs affiliated with MichRIC®. This new program will provide a platform to share data across contiguous borders, easily accessible via desktop, tablet and RPR Mobile™, he added.

Zahn, chief executive officer of the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of REALTORS® (WMLAR®).  WMLAR is one of 11 participating Associations in MichRIC®. The data is now all in one place and offers easy access. The RPR solution is a great one!"

Formed in 1996, MichRIC® utilizes collaborative buying power to reduce expenses and eliminates barriers between Associations by offering access to one another's listings and forms. Currently, MichRIC® is a consortium of 11 local Associations sharing data for ease of transaction while still maintaining their own memberships and MLS rules. An additional seven Michigan Associations or MLSs will join MichRIC® in the new RPR View data share.

RPR View™ is a set of display permissions which allow RPR Partner MLSs to make listings viewable by REALTORS® in other markets. MLSs have complete flexibility in how they desire to implement the "viewing" of listing information by REALTORS® in other MLSs. MLSs then can decide which permissions are compatible with their local business rules and decisions on sharing listing data.

As with all features of the RPR Platform, there are no fees, charges or contracts associated with RPR View. RPR View Participating Michigan Associations and MLSs:
