New Fluid Power ISO Standards Now Available - June 2018

 
MILWAUKEE - June 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Standardization development continues in the field of fluid power systems and components. TC 131 - the technical committee directly responsible for fluid power has 224 published ISO standards to date. There are 49 standards currently under development. The following fluid power systems and components ISO standards were recently published:

Subcommittee 4 – Connectors (couplings)
ISO 6164:2018
Hydraulic fluid power – Four-screw, one-piece square flange connections for use at pressures of 42 MPa, DN 25 to 80

Subcommittee 6 – Contamination control
ISO 11943:2018
Hydraulic fluid power – Online automatic particle-counting systems for liquids – Methods of calibration and validation

NFPA provides a forum for the fluid power industry's channel partners—manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, users, and educators. Its U.S. and multinational members work cooperatively in advancing hydraulic and pneumatic technology through the association's many programs and initiatives. NFPA coordinates standards development for fluid power at the industry and international levels. These standards are intended as guides to aid the manufacturer, the consumer, and the user.
