SAN JOSE, Calif. - June 27, 2018 - PRLog -- The San Jose Symphony Foundation (SJSF) is pleased to announce the election of its 2018 Board of Trustees and officers.  This year's officers are Christopher Greene (President), Peter Coe Verbica, JD (Vice President), Victor Corsiglia, MD (Secretary), and Thomas Bondi, CPA (CFO & Treasurer).  Additional board members include Rod Diridon, Jr., Marcine Seid, Christopher Citti, Kristi Smith Hernandez and Ray Mendoza.

SJSF makes grants to organizations that perform orchestral music or provide orchestral music education in the metropolitan area of San Jose.  The San Jose Symphony Foundation was established in 1973 as an independent non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting the San Jose Symphony by issuing grants.  The San Jose Symphony performed the symphonic repertoire for 124 years until it suspended in 2001.  San Jose Symphony Foundation carries forward that long and honored tradition through its annual grants.  Its major beneficiaries include Symphony Silicon Valley and the San Jose Youth Symphony.
