Premier Gold Worldwide Limited - Deep sea mining equipped ship launched in East China

JING'AN, China - June 28, 2018 - PRLog -- The Latest in sea mining drilling/diving technology

The world's first deep sea mining vessel capable of working at a depth of 2,500 meters. Equipped with the Latest in sea mining drilling/diving technology, the 227-meter-long, 40-meter-wide vessel will provide living and working space for 200 people and can store up to 39,000 tonnes of REE ( Rare Earth Elements). The vessel has completed testing and will be delivered to Canadian mining company, Nautilus Minerals Inc this summer so they can complete their own field tests before setting off for the exploration sites at the end of the year.

Dynamic Positioning System

Our Production Support Vessel (PSV) will be equipped with a dynamic positioning system which will provide a stable platform for deep sea mining operations irrespective of wind and wave conditions. Firstly, it will be used to mine REE deposits in the waters around Papua New Guinea but once the initial field explorations are completed and reported,  Premier Gold Worldwide will deliver further drilling equipment to our partners for exploration expansion.

Hands on field experience

We're very excited for the upcoming field results and we're readily prepared for the next chapter in our deep sea mining journey. We currently have two Engineers and One analyst on board the Vessel who will have hands on field experience and will implement our techniques and implementations to better gauge our approach on future deep sea explorations and deep sea machine drilling tests.
