NTI Introduces a 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI Splitter/Extender

AURORA, Ohio - June 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the VOPEX® 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI Splitter/Extender to its popular line of Video Splitters and Point to Multi-Point Extenders. The Splitter/Extender simultaneously distributes uncompressed Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI video, multi-channel audio, and IR from one video source to up to four displays and speakers via CAT5e/6/6a/7 cable.

The VOPEX-C64K18GB-4 system consists of two components: the 4K HDMI HDBase-T broadcast unit, which connects to the HDMI source and also supplies video to a local display; and a receiver for each remote 4K HDMI display. The units are interconnected by CAT5e/6/6a/7 cable that extends Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 60Hz resolutions up to 100 feet away, 4Kx2K 30Hz resolutions up to 165 feet away, and 1080p resolutions up to 200 feet away.

HDMI features supported include: HDMI 2.0; 4:4:4 YUV; Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS 7.1 and LPCM; HDR; 3D; Bandwidth up to 18 Gbps; Support for CEC (consumer electronic control) compatible devices; and Lip sync. The unit is HDCP 2.2 compliant, supports the DDC2B protocol, and has a built-in default EDID table.

Each package includes one 4K HDMI HDBase-T  transmitter, four receivers, one IR blaster, one IR receiver, mounting brackets for the transmitter and receivers, and one power adapter. The receiver units are powered by the transmitter unit, and do not require a power supply.
