DCI Celebrates 10 Years of Service to the Green Valley and Sahuarita Communities

SAHUARITA, N.M. - July 7, 2018 - PRLog -- Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is hosting an open house at its facility, located at 1700 West Duval Commerce Point Place, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, to celebrate 10 years of service to the Green Valley and Sahuarita communities.

The general public is invited to tour the facility, enjoy refreshments and meet key staff and leadership.

"Ten years ago several community leaders and dialysis patients demonstrated a critical need for a local dialysis center.  When we heard their stories and challenges, we were honored to be able build a facility in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area," stated Larry Brauer, DCI Area Operations Director.

The 24-station facility, which opened in 2008, offers patients a bright and airy atmosphere, individual flat screen cable TV, and free Wi-Fi access. In-center hemodialysis is provided every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The open house is an opportunity for the community to become acquainted with the care team and learn more about treatments for kidney disease. Medical staff will be available to answer any questions the public may have about delaying the need for dialysis, pre-emptive transplant, in-center hemodialysis and home hemodialysis.

"DCI is committed to providing care that meets the individual patient's needs. We want to learn about the kidney concerns a person has. Then, we would love to discuss the available treatment options. Even if something is not offered at this facility, we have two other DCI units within 20 miles. We can meet just about any kidney care need," said Amy Del Toro, RN, Nurse Manager for DCI Desert Dialysis Sahuarita.

DCI Desert Dialysis Sahuarita is accepting new patients and also welcomes patients traveling to the area who may need dialysis.

"I hope the community will join in our celebration on Tuesday and witness our dedication to meeting their kidney care needs," stated Brauer.
