Local Entertainment Group Partners With Pepsi To Host Anti-violence Youth Talent Show In Houston

HOUSTON - July 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Houston-based entertainment group Houston Bar Code has partnered with PepsiCo to host an anti-violence youth talent show in Houston. The show will take place on August 4, 2018 at Third Ward Multi-Services Center at 3611 Ennis, Houston, TX 77004. The event will feature youth from across Texas highlighting talents including singing, dancing, magic, and group and individual performances.

The event is free of charge for guests and every student will receive a backpack filled with school supplies and assorted Pepsi and Frito Lay products (while supplies last). Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place talent show winners. The show will be hosted by comedian Jeff Shelley who built a large following via Instagram skits and now performs nationwide and will feature an appearance by child actor and anti-bullying activist Gabriel Silva, co-star of Hollywood blockbuster films "Live by Night" with Ben Affleck and the upcoming "Godzilla" with Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson, Jr. and a cast of Emmy winning stars.

"We wanted to give back to our community, so this is one of the most important ventures Houston Bar Code has launched," said organization founder Scotty Raps. "We talk about the negatives so much in our society, we felt it was time to do something positive with the kids and give them a platform to let their voice be heard and their talent be showcased. When youth know they have options to reach their dreams in life it can do wonders for their self-esteem and outlook on success."
