Fifteen local C-level executives will be honored in the C-Suite Awards of the Year hosted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and their sponsoring partners.

The awards will be presented on Thursday, July 26 at NIU. The honorees will also be profiled in the August 20, 2018 issue of the Business Ledger.

The mission of the C-Suite Awards is to honor top C-level executives who contribute to the success of our region's economic growth and stability.

Consideration is given to the C-Suite's contributions to their company / organization's overall growth, commitment to good ethics, and involvement in the community. Candidates must also work for a business or organization with a presence in the suburban Chicago region.

Luis Toledo, Owner of Mid-West Moving & Storage and Chicago Office Movers is so excited to accept this prestigious award based on his successful businesses.  Prior to starting Mid-West Moving & Storage, Luis worked for a local moving company while going to school.  He was a highly sought-after member of that team.  People would call in and ask for "Luis the Mover"!  Luis enjoyed what he was doing so much, that he decided to take a year off of school to work and learn more about the business and industry.  Soon after, Luis went out on his own and started Mid-West Moving & Storage. Through the years, he continued to receive support and mentorship from his previous employer. Years later Luis went back to school to graduate from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He has grown to run a multi-million dollar organization that includes multiple brands and subsidiaries.
