Some even as cures of various ailments, like the soup called "Restaurant" Southern Oregon restauranteur, Spoons, serves one such soup called Chicken Pozole aka Family Celebration Soup. The Pozole Celebration Soup has generous portions of chicken, hominy, tomatoes, and beans in a hearty chicken stock seasoned chili powder and lime juice. Topped with radish slaw and sour cream makes for a great yummy party. Spoons offers customers thirty different soups, in a two-week rotation, throughout the winter months. In the summer, five lively chilled soups are added to the mix. A typical lunch includes: a soup-of-the- Spoons specializes in fresh, local, non-GMO dishes. Daily Vegan and non-Vegan soups, salads that are unique to them, gluten-free breads and noshes that are sometimes hard to find; as well as a number of meat-based dishes and sides like some of the incredible hearty meat stews and loaded baked potatoes. Saturday soups change depending upon what's left in the fridge. Chef, Merrie Bechtold, creates a new menu every Saturday at the Central Point location.
