20 Acres of Conservation Land for Sale via Online Auction

HARRISON COUNTY, Mo. - Aug. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- The 20 acres of land known as the Lotts Creek Conservation Area in Harrison County, Missouri is currently being sold by the Conservation Commission of Missouri. The wooded land is available for purchase via online auction on the government auction website GovDeals.com.

The conservation area was previously managed as a forested public area and is nearly 100% covered by mixed hardwood species including white oak, red oak, shagbark hickory, black oak, bur oak, elm, and western red cedar.

The legal description of the land for sale is "The South Half of the Southwest Fourth of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 66, Range 29, Harrison County, Missouri." The physical location of the property is Hwy HH, approximately 36 miles Northwest of Bethany, MO.

The conservation land has a graveled access driveway and a small parking lot that could also be used as a home site. This parking area connects to a mowed trail that bisects the property. The property is a rectangular-shaped tract and measures approximately 660 feet (North-South) by 1320 feet (East-West) with the Easternmost boundary lying on the West side of Hwy HH.

Bidding for the land opened on August 8^th with an opening bid of $10,000. The auction will run until August 29^th. The listing has an undisclosed reserve price set and a $5,000 deposit will be required before placing a bid.
