Local Orange County Business, Paper Mart, Celebrates 97th Anniversary Throughout August!

ORANGE, Calif. - Aug. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Since 1921, Paper Mart has been on a mission to provide high-quality products at affordable prices to the public. This August, the packaging supply company, best known for its high-quality, affordable packaging supplies, celebrates the company history and ninety-seven years in business with special promotions and giveaways.

Paper Mart Looks Back At 97 Years
From Humble Beginnings
Paper Mart began as California Towel & Linen Supply in a small Los Angeles garage. Back then, the company was led by husband and wife team, G.A and Emma Frick. G.A. Frick served as both salesman and delivery man while Emma handled the bookkeeping. Like any new business in the 1920's, times were tough. The company went through many challenges, narrowly surviving both the Great Depression and World War II.

Through these hardships, the company maintained its focus and continued to offer quality products to the Los Angeles area. Even expanding product offerings to consumables like paper towels, janitorial, and shipping supplies. It is during this time that second generation son Robert Frick assumed leadership and the company became known as, Frick Paper Co.

With dreams to grow even further, third generation son, John Frick adjusted the business model to a regional discount mail order catalog business. This was a game changing business decision and Paper Mart made its mark. John Frick was later joined by Tom Frick and under this leadership team, Paper Mart grew its reach even further and took on the world wide web in 1995 as one of the first companies to add images to text.

To A Bright Future
Under the leadership of fourth generation daughter, Buffy Frick Simoni, Paper Mart maintains the tradition of supplying quality products at an affordable price.  We continue to see the strong positive reactions to the changes she's made, in employee satisfaction, in customer demand for our new products, and in the bottom line.

Throughout these 97 years, Paper Mart is proud to have supplied countless people with packaging, craft, and party supplies. From co-sponsoring craft conferences (even personally hosting the first Paper Mart Craft Challenge!), becoming more active in our local community, and even helping make dreams come true.
