Electronic Game Music Soundtrack Of The Upcoming PC Game Gerty Released

OULU, Finland - Aug. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Gearing up for the December release of their PC game Gerty, Spawn Point OSK has released the game's original soundtrack (OST) on the music streaming and purchasing site Bandcamp.

To celebrate this milestone in the project, Spawn Point has issued a limited-time, 30% discount code 'gertygame30'. The code is valid for all Gerty OST digital album purchases on Bandcamp until October 31st. Just use the code 'gertygame30' on checkout to get the 30% discount.

"Instead of adaptive music, we wanted to make a compelling soundtrack that could be listened to outside of the game," explains the project lead Risto Ihalainen.

"I have always been a fan of game soundtracks with strong and memorable melodies, such as Turrican or One Must Fall 2097, so we set out to create a similar feel for the Gerty OST," Risto continues.

"Creating the soundtrack has been an interesting journey," muses Mikko Lapinlahti, the composer and producer of the Gerty OST. "It has been a very collaborative process where sometimes even minute details have come under scrutiny. The project has pushed me to evolve professionally and I believe the Gerty OST has benefited from this greatly," Mikko concludes.
