Follow on Google News | Craig Zamary Teaches Entrepreneurship in Colombia as Fulbright SpecialistBy: Kent State College of Business Administration The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program sends American scholars and professionals abroad to conduct research and lecture. The program awards approximately 8,000 grants annually, including several hundred to teachers and professors. Zamary traveled to Bucaramanga, Colombia, where he lectured, shared best practices, knowledge, experiences and advised about building a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem in Colombia. Zamary is a serial entrepreneur and Strategic Advisor to IBM Watson A.I. XPRIZE Foundation, Advisor to USAID Global Innovation Exchange, a contributor to the Huffington Post and has served as senior advisor to The Kauffman Foundation, overseeing the development and implementation of the Entrepreneur in Residence Program for a select group of community colleges across the United States to build their entrepreneurship programs and local ecosystems. He has helped and advised numerous companies, government organizations, nonprofits and for-profits and has appeared on many national and international television and online media outlets. "It was an absolute honor to serve as a Fulbright specialist to Colombia. Entrepreneurship and innovation are alive and well in Bucaramanga, Colombia," Zamary said.
