"Instead of adaptive music, we wanted to make a compelling soundtrack that could also be listened to outside of the game," explains the project lead Risto Ihalainen. "I have always been a fan of game soundtracks with strong and memorable melodies, such as Turrican or One Must Fall 2097, so we set out to create a similar feel for the Gerty OST," Risto continues. "The demo that can be downloaded currently on Steam includes only tracks for the first world of the game," says Mikko Lapinlahti, the composer and producer of the Gerty OST. "With this release the game's fans can enjoy all the tracks in advance - even the ones that might be hard to discover during regular gameplay," Mikko adds enigmatically.
