Hospital Base Drug and Alcohol Detox

SHERMAN, Texas - Aug. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- The Haven Health Services is a 16 bed stabilization detox unit that provides a diversity of specialized programs designed for patients who are struggling with various forms of addictions. The Haven Texas' Sherman location is a specialized unit where the patient's medical needs are managed by  psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, physicians and nurses who are available 24/7 to assist and aid the patients on their initial steps in their recovery.

At the facility, the patients have regular daily recreational activities such as  yoga, art expression, psychodrama, meditation, 12 step AA/NA meetings in addition to therapy sessions with a primary therapist. The unit was built with a unique approach for treatment; in order to allow patients to recover without the feeling of being institutionalized while still in a hospital acute setting. Each patient has their own private room and bathroom and the typical length of stay at The Haven is 5-9 days. The Haven Texas accepts all insurances available to the public (including Medicaid, Medicare and Tri-Care) and provides local transportation to the facility, which enables accessibility to treatment for all.
