California Trucking Association Tackles Legislative Issues with "CTA in Action" Video Updates

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Aug. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- The California Trucking Association (CTA) (http://www.caltrux.org/), the state's largest trucking trade association, recently launched a service to ensure that members are briefed on legislative initiatives, actions and decisions that impact the trucking industry. CTA in Action allows members to access quarterly legislative video updates regarding the association's advocacy activities and trucking-related legislative changes.
"The California Trucking Association is constantly looking for new ways to keep members abreast of the ever-changing issues that impact the industry," said Dana Brooks, Vice President of Membership and Business Development. "CTA in Action will share the ways our government affairs team is working to educate policymakers and impact."  Although this is a member-only benefit, prospective members and those in the industry are invited to preview an introductory overview about the videos here.



The development of "CTA in Action" evolved from feedback provided in a new member survey. Members reported that federal and state legislative updates are top priorities and summaries of the activities of CTA's government affairs specialists would help further their understanding of the current political environment.

In addition to CTA in Action, the association provides a host of benefits including a Legal Resource Center, Compliance Help Desk, Title and Registration services, training and more.
