John Marazzi promotes Courtney Cohen to finance director at Sun Toyota

He had previously been a finance manager at the dealership for three years. As finance director, Cohen is responsible for department staffing, training and operations, as well as cultivating lender relationships to ensure customers get the most attractive finance rates possible.

Cohen holds an associate degree in business from St. Petersburg College. He has broad experience in all aspects of auto dealership finance, along with auto sales and service management over a career that began with an on-the-job training program in high school and now has spanned 24 years in the automotive business, including eight years at Hyundai of New Port Richey.

He's already made dramatic changes in staffing and processes in the finance department that benefit customers, create closer teamwork among associates, reduce errors, and speed customers on their way in their new vehicles. For example, early changes and improvements have lowered customers' wait times from vehicle selection to vehicle possession by nearly 90%, greatly enhancing the customer experience.
