ELKHART, Ind. - Aug. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- AE Techron, Inc. announces the availability of two new amplifiers: models 7114 and 7136. These new 7100-series audio-bandwidth amplifiers provide dependable, high-power, high-speed operation with a range of user-adjustable features. Plus, they can produce a precision DC signal that is independent of input signal and amplifier gain, providing additional flexibility and convenience compared to the standard AE Techron DC-enabled linear amp design.

7100-series amplifiers are built with AE-Techron's new DC-Max™ topology. Amplifiers with DC-Max have long-term DC power that is improved more than 40% over traditional amplifier designs. This increased DC performance better matches the power requirements needed for DC conducted immunity and PSRR testing.

The 7114 can supply 13.5V DC to 48V DC at up to 15 amps. Plus, it can output 250-kHz ripple at up to 20V p-p and can produce DC dropouts and surges with a <4-µs rise/fall times. The 7136 can provide 5A RMS at 120V RMS and is capable of up to 200 volts RMS. It can produce a high-power AC signal up to 150 kHz and delivers a very fast slew rate of 165 V/µs.

Front panel user controls make it easy to configure the 7100-series amplifier for a wide variety of uses; gain, current limit, and DC offset can be fixed or infinitely varied. Amplifier output can be AC coupled (DC blocked), making the 7100-series amplifier the ideal choice for driving objects that are easily damaged, like piezo elements or small-signal electronics; or don't tolerate DC offset, like transformers and coils. All features can be disabled when only a durable, high-current amplifier or DC source is needed.

While compact in size, these amplifiers were built using the same conservative design rules and protection system that have made AE Techron amplifiers and test systems the toughest audio-bandwidth amplifiers and test systems available.

AE Techron is world-recognized as a manufacturer of precision amplifiers for the EMC Test industry. The addition of the 7100-series provides professionals with new choices for durable audio-bandwidth amplifiers and testing components that provide exceptional quality, versatility and value.
