NEW YORK - Aug. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- Track Star Natasha Hastings has been known for her accolades on the track but she always had a soft spot for young girls and knew she wanted to empower them to reach their full potential. Becoming aware of her voice and influence on the younger generation, Natasha decided to form her own non-profit The Natasha Hastings Foundation (https://www.nhfcares.org/) and launched her signature event "Tea Time with Tasha" where teen girls can be physically active as well as find a safe place to have "Girl Talk" on subjects such as, body image, beauty secrets, and relationships.  The girls' empowerment event "Tea Time with Tasha," is based on the Track Star's successful YouTube channel where she gives insights into her workout and race routines, shares beauty hacks and discusses topics close to her heart.

By hosting the Tea Time Benefit this year, Natasha Hastings and her team plan to raise funds in order to send 5 deserving girls to Track and Field Nationals and Junior Nationals.

The fundraising gala will start at 6:30 pm on September 26th in the LeGrand Lounge of the Time Hotel (224 W. 49th Street New York, NY 10019). The Emcees for the evening are Lyndsay Christian and Raval Davis who are both media personalities of the New York City Scene. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent auction, entertainment and special gift bags accompanied to beats by Dj Ria who will set the perfect ambiance for the festivities. The 2018 Tea Time Benefit is sponsored by Under Armour and Fortis Liz Financial. Special Guests will include New York Giant William Gay, 800M American Record Holder Ajee Wilson, USATF CEO Max Siegel, and Harlem Run Founder Alison Désir. Tickets start at $150 and can be purchased at https://www.nhfcares.org/tea-time-gala
