New Fluid Power ISO Standards Now Available

MILWAUKEE - Sept. 5, 2018 - PRLog -- Standardization development continues in the field of fluid power systems and components. TC 131 - the technical committee directly responsible for fluid power has 224 published ISO standards to date. There are 49 standards currently under development. The following fluid power systems and components ISO standards were recently published:

Subcommittee 4 – Connectors (couplings)
ISO 8434-1: 2018
Metallic tube connections for fluid power and general use -- Part 1: 24° cone connectors

NFPA provides a forum for the fluid power industry's channel partners—manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, users, and educators. Its U.S. and multinational members work cooperatively in advancing hydraulic and pneumatic technology through the association's many programs and initiatives. NFPA coordinates standards development for fluid power at the industry and international levels with the help of volunteers from across the industry. These standards are intended as guides to aid the manufacturer, the consumer, and the user.
