Arizona Fireplaces Announces New President Keith Richardson

PHOENIX - Sept. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Arizona Fasteners Corp, parent of Phoenix-based Arizona Fireplaces, AF Distributors & AF Steel Fabricators is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Richardson as its new President.  Keith will be the second generation to take the lead of this thriving, family owned and operated business that was founded by Don & Debbie Richardson in 1980.

Keith succeeds Don Richardson as President, who after 37 years will now be serving as the company CEO.  When asked about his new appointment, CEO Don Richardson replied, "I have watched Keith strategically develop AF Distributors these past 10 years from a fledgling statewide distributor to a Western United States powerhouse. He has pushed that division ahead of the rest of the company in technology, organization, and strategic planning. This has resulted in the growth of his division becoming the "engine" that currently drives the rest of the company. While doing so, he has garnered the respect and trust of our employees, our suppliers and of our entire industry.  Now with Keith at the helm of the total organization, I am excited to see him drive these same results for the rest of the company."

When asked about his vision for the company, Keith replied, "We have a great opportunity with the strong financial foundation my parents have built over the last 37 years. Enhancing our current team with some strong and energetic young talent, our organization can be pushed to new levels which will make the immediate and long-term future of this company very exciting.  The company has already seen some exciting growth the last few years but with growth comes a need for organization. This improved organization, helped by technology and never forgetting the personal feel of a family business, will better serve our customers which will increase customer loyalty and growth."

Arizona Fireplaces along with AF Distributors  represents the largest combined part of the family business. The other related companies include AF Steel Fabricators (fabricators and installers of structural steel in metro Phoenix for large commercial and residential builders), Modern Flames, LLC  (manufacturer and international brand of electric fireplaces), and Grand Canyon Gas logs (manufacturer of gas logs and burners).
