Follow on Google News | ![]() Viral Post Leads Ohio Blogger to Amish Furniture ManufacturerBy: Designed Decor Last December she told her husband she wanted a coffee table big enough to do a 1000 piece puzzle and it had to have a top that could cover the puzzle when they weren't working on it so she could display her home décor. Together, DeDe and Mr. DD, otherwise known as Randy Bailey, designed a table with a divided top that flips open to reveal a workspace with two opposing drawers to hold the extra puzzle pieces. When the post started to go viral, DeDe told Mr. DD to create build plans so that DIYers could make the puzzle coffee table at home. The build plans have been very popular, however, non-DIYers just wanted to know where they could buy one. DeDe captured emails from those who were interested in a pre-built table and asked those to take a quick survey regarding the features they would like to see in the puzzle table. DeDe determined through the survey, that people wanted a "quality" table, one that could hold a 2000-piece puzzle and taller table choices were needed, in addition to the original coffee table height. The furniture manufacturer will be custom making the tables as they are ordered, and the customer may choose from several different finishes. These heirloom quality tables made in the heart of Ohio's Amish country are now available to order through the designed décor website: www.designeddecor.com/ Viral Facebook Post (http://bit.ly/ End
