Follow on Google News | The Hues Company Presents FLY at Fashion Week MNRunway Show Launches New Aviation Couture Line and Exhibits Northwest Airlines Memorabilia
By: The Hues Company "We love the idea of creating "aviation couture," explained co-founder, Dr. Jasmine L. Harris. "Our mother worked in the airline industry and we're frequent flyers, so we're always looking for cute, comfortable clothing that transitions from the airplane, to the meeting. ABRT is the manifestation of our own experiences and each of our unique styles." Since 2015, Fashion Week MN has served as a platform for launching local designers with a focused audience of Twin Cities fashion-mongers eagerly anticipating their shows. "We're so grateful for the opportunity to join the family of designers who have shown during Fashion Week MN," said co-founder, Jenaé Harris. "Sewing and designing have been two things all three of us shared growing up. Our mother introduced us to a needle and thread early, so being among other designers for such an important week of fashion just feels natural." Starting at 6:00 PM on September 28, VIP ticket holders can also view the aviation inspired exhibition featuring memorabilia on loan from the Northwest Airlines History Center, including uniforms spanning the last 50 years. "We're so excited to have the Northwest Airlines History Center involved in our show," said The Hues Company co-founder and mom, Robin G. Harris. "Northwest Airlines is an important part of Minnesota history and for our family, holds a special place in our lives." Along with the launch of ABRT, FLY will include fashions from guest designers Oceane Thea of Theacouture, Jummy Oye of Jummy's Corner, and Anyse Mellott of Anyse Fashion and Design. Following the show, set to take place at Public Functionary (@pfunctionary) Tickets to the show are available online http://bit.ly/ End
