WHO IS TORSTEN KROL?: New Speculations Swirl

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- Theories about the true identity of internationally bestselling author Torsten Krol are swirling again this week. And the possible answers just got a whole lot weirder.

On September 15th, a buzz crackled through Krol's fan base across the globe when a New York City writer published an essay containing clues to Krol's true identity.

The essay called "Who Is Torsten Krol?: Stephen King v. Joe Hill  Part II" followed a similar essay titled "Who is Torsten Krol?: Stephen King vs. Joe Hill" that was published in April by a fan in Germany. The German fan stated in the on-line previews of his essay that he wanted to explore "an interesting conspiracy theory."

The existence of the essay by the German author was revealed in April 2018 when it was made public on Amazon.  A few weeks later, on May 3, 2018 Krol's publisher released Krol's monumental new novel series, FOREVERMAN.   Krol's publisher stated that FOREVERMAN had already been quickly selling pre-orders on Amazon in the United States and Europe before the release of the first book in the series. Since the release of the first book, sales have expanded into the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Torsten Krol is known to be an extreme recluse. It has been reported that he lives in the outback region of Queensland, Australia. Krol has never been seen in person and no one has ever spoken to him on the phone. The mysterious author of the FOREVERMAN series has evaded the public for more than 10 years. Press accounts have made various statements about who he might be. Fans world-wide have tried to discover his identity but have had no success.

Krol is the international best-selling author of Callisto, The Dolphin People, and The Secret Book of Sacred Things. His works have been sought by readers around the world. His debut novel, Callisto, published by Harper Perennial in 2009, was translated into 22 languages, and is being developed as a feature film.
