Fifth Third Capital City River Run 25 Years

LANSING, Mich. - Sept. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- Join us in celebrating the Fifth Third Capital City River Run on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23.

This year marks the 25^th year of the half marathon, relay, 5K and kids races. The event raises awareness and support physical fitness and education in the Greater Lansing community.

Local sponsorship, donations and participant fees will be used to support Impression 5 Science Center, Lansing Promise, Team Lansing Foundation, McLaren Foundation and Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails.

Over 3,000 people will gather in front of the Lansing Center, travel down Michigan Ave into East Lansing, MSU and experience a newly paved Lansing River Trail as they return to downtown and finish in Cooley Law School Stadium! The 5K will travel around the Capitol Building, the Hall of Justice, Adado Park and will also finish in the ballpark for an after party.
