ABOUT THE AUTHOR Pastor Charles Dixon was born son of a poor sharecropper at the beginning of the Great Depression. In 1949, at the age of 18, as he worked in the cotton fields, God called him into the ministry. During the Korean War he served 2 years in the US Army, 18 months of which he spent in Korea. After honorable discharge from the military he began his pastoral career. Over the next 61 years he would serve as pastor of various churches. He was president of the First Congregational Methodist Organization for many years and is presently moderator of the Bible Based Fellowship Association. Throughout his career he has been recognized twice through resolutions passed by the Alabama State Legislature commending him for his service as minister and pastor. As Bro. Dixon nears his eighty-seventh birthday, his physical strength might weaken, but his faith in the love and power of his Heavenly Father does not. He still shares the gospel with as much dedication and enthusiasm as he ever did. (http://www.whosoeverpress.com/ End
