GEOGRAPHY- Ethnic Necklaces, Designed by Slava SalyukJoin the museum in the exhibit opening of Slava Salyuk's brilliant, breathtaking neckwear pieces that will have history, tradition and wealth on display in nearly 50 pieces. All designs in this exhibition are available for purchase. The necklaces have influences, craftsmanship and designs from Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, South Asia, Latin America and Ukraine's Carpathian mountains. While creating the designer collects various materials from many lands and sources such as Hutsul and Coptic crucifixes, old Venetian trade beads, Ghanaian Krobo beads, antique silver Austrian coins of the late 1800s, as she produces one of a kind, intricate necklaces based on traditional global styles. In Geography Slava Salyuk who is a trained fashion designer from L'viv Ukraine speaks to you with every piece which is enriched with the collected insight, meaning and power that is woven into the organic, stately essence of being, spirituality and tradition.
