Not only can Debra see around corners, but she's also prepared to lead the next big change before anyone else. After completing law school, she jumped headfirst into a dual-focused career in privacy and information security, having spent nearly 15 years in those fields with roles at Visa, IBM, TrustArc, and several startups. Additionally, Debra co-founded the non-profit project, Women in Security and Privacy (WISP), and continues to advocate for the advancement of women. She is currently Senior Director of Privacy Strategy at BigID, helping to bring forth a new wave of privacy and data protection technology to support enterprise data discovery, inventory, and mapping. Habitu8 Chief Product Offer Jason Hoenich is also extremely excited to welcome Debra to the Habitu8 family. "Debra will provide key insight and guidance for our new privacy-focused videos. It's such an important topic and we want to make sure we're approaching it with respect and intention." Hoenich admitted he had initially confused privacy and piracy. "I was really looking forward to having a pirate on the team. But, someday perhaps. #goals" "Debra Farber will be a key advisor to Habitu8's growth and story over the next year. Her continued advocacy for diversity and inclusion aligns with Habitu8's goals and we are excited as hell to have her guidance and support," said Hoenich.
