Knowing how crucial the music is in making a wedding a night to remember, Battle curated a musical experience tailored to the couple's love story. At the end of the night Eva screamed, "Battle you killed it!" and with Eva basking in enjoyment, Michael could not stop smiling. The reception was a beautiful love story set into music form. The wedding party entered the reception to various songs highlighting the journey of Michael and Eva's love for each other. Then in a small twist, Michael danced with Eva's mother to "Caravan of Love" by the Isley Brothers. The entire reception enveloped the family and sang along with tears of joy leaving not a single dry face in sight. Shortly after, Battle ignited yet another beautiful moment introducing a surprise performance by R&B star Anthony Hamilton singing his ode to the beauty of love, "Best of Me". Later, after Eva's third and final dress change, Battle brought the couple to the stage as he turned up the groove to Beyoncé and Jay Z's crowd pleaser "Ape Sh**t". The entire room went into a frenzy with everyone up on their feet and the couple danced center stage hyping the crowd. This carefully crafted roller coaster ride let each guest take a journey through time and dance like there was no tomorrow. "DJ Mark Battle" New York native DJ Mark Battle is like no other.
