Beauty Nails in Sherwood Park Rebrands Their Name to Beauty Hour

SHERWOOD PARK, Alberta - Oct. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Galee Khau, managing partner at Beauty Hour, said, "This salon has been serving the Sherwood Park community for 19 years, and as the industry continues to grow and change, we feel it is our social responsibility to adapt to these standards of conditions."

Beauty Nails was established in 1999 by two sisters, Dian Du and Joyce Du. The salon has undergone changes in ownership over the last few years, but as of June 2018, Dian Du is the primary owner. Her daughter recently graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and has now taken on the business venture together alongside her mother. With Galee's education in business, and Dian's technical skill as a nail technician, the two has decided to partner up to establish a better vision for the family nail salon.

"We believe there is a lack of standards for nail salons in the industry and we want to change that. Our vision is to be the leader of nail salons in the Sherwood Park community where we focus on education, transparency, and customer service with our clients. We want to build a sustainable company where our clients appreciate and value our emphasis on proper sterilization practices, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. We understand that building a strong and reputable foundation for our business will strengthen the relationships we have with our clients and the future generations to come," says Galee.

Galee adds that nail salons often receive negative press from the media due to their lack of due diligence of sterilization processes. Her goals are to ensure her clients are well-aware and educated on proper sterilization practices, and can be rest-assured that Beauty Hour is following the provincial sanitation standards set for the industry.

"The reason we decided to change our name is because there are more than one Beauty Nails within the surrounding area, and with our vision to change how we run our business, we wanted to separate ourselves from the other salon," Galee states.

The rebranding includes redesigning Beauty Hour's name, website, logo, gift certificates, business cards, communications, and physical store. Beauty Hour's new brand assets include a simple black-and-white script and san serif logo, colourful client photos on social media, and a bright, open physical salon with the company colours: white, grey, and burgundy.
