HighScope Reveals New Child Assessment Platform

YPSILANTI, Mich. - Nov. 8, 2018 - PRLog -- HighScope Educational Research Foundation reveals a new, user-friendly platform for COR Advantage, its leading observation-based assessment for children birth through kindergarten. With this update, COR Advantage offers a complete picture of child growth for schools and families.

"Our COR Advantage customers have expressed a need for the platform to be more accessible and useful to school leaders and families, but especially for teachers who are the primary user," said Cheryl Polk, PhD, HighScope President. Numerous new features come with the software update, including a real-time dashboard for teachers to see children's progress at a glance, family engagement tools to easily share observations with children's parents and guardians, and digital daily sheets to log care-related activities for infants and toddlers. Additionally, COR Advantage is now cross-platform, enabling early childhood educators to capture observations and access assessment data from any mobile device or computer.

The new software is now available to all COR Advantage users. While the updated platform contains all of the core features of the legacy software, its new features will more deeply engage all families, teachers, and administrators.
