San Diego Business Debuting Human Interest Independent Film at Local Theater

LA MESA, Calif. - Nov. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- A San Diego based Software as a Service company, Cash Practice Systems, has teamed up with RSVP Films to produce an independent feature film, The Calling - A True Story. This is a human interest independent film that tells the story of a young man's quest to find his purpose in life.

Based on the true story of Cash Practice Systems' Founder & CEO, Dr. Miles Bodzin, movie-goers will be part of his roller-coaster journey as he drops out of San Diego State University in his final year of Electrical Engineering leading to the discovery and pivotal decision to pursue his true calling in life.

The film highlights the personal and professional challenges one must overcome in achieving their life's dream.   Along the way, viewers will meet a wide cast of characters who play a vital role in his journey.

Dr. Miles Bodzin, the films Executive Producer and Co-writer stated, "My hope for the film is that moviegoers will laugh, cry and hopefully be inspired by my story to find their purpose in life and take action on it.  Most of all, I believe viewers will identify with the story in a personal way as we all collectively circle the sun."

The film features up and coming actors, Joshua Marble, Belle Adams, and Karenssa LeGear along with a host of other SAG-AFTRA actors and was co-written, filmed, and directed by Rich Varville, winner of Best Music Film at the 2018 San Diego Film Awards and winner of Best Cinematography for the 2018 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project.

"I felt a real connection to Dr. Bodzin's story through my own journey of becoming a filmmaker. I too struggled early in my career finding my voice and how to share it with others. So, to me, this film hits home and captures the essence of overcoming adversity through perseverance and ingenuity. I think people will find it both inspirational and motivating" says Varville of the project.

Holly Jensen, one of the film's Associate Producers, said, "My favorite part of this film is how relatable it is. Although it follows Dr. Bodzin's path to natural healing through chiropractic, it's really a very relatable story about an individual trying to find their path in life. Who hasn't faced the challenge of finding their dream career or had to deal with the challenges of being a business owner? It's a very inspiring film."
