Keith Arthur Bolden Joins the Cast of the Stage Play "Fetch Clay, Make Man"

DALLAS - Nov. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- Actor, Director, and Producer Keith Arthur Bolden returns to where he started and currently teaches theatre in the stage play "Fetch Clay, Make Man" where in the play Bolden portrays Brother Rashid, bodyguard and confidant to Muhammad Ali. The play dates are Dec 5^th-Jan 13^th at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theater in Dallas, TX.

His name was Cassius Clay, but you know him as Muhammad Ali. His name was Lincoln Theodore Monroe Andrew Perry, but you know him as Stepin Fetchit. Or, do you really know either of these men at all? Loosely inspired by the pair's real-life friendship, DTC Playwright-in-Residence Will Power has crafted a daring script, loosely inspired by the pair's real-life friendship, that brings these two iconic figures together to shape their legacies against the backdrop of the Civil Rights Movement. A powerful exploration of what it is to be a black man in America, Fetch Clay, Make Man pulls no punches.

Keith Arthur Bolden hails originally from Los Angeles, California he obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Illinois. He is a professional actor, director and professor of Theatre and Performance at Spelman College.
