After growing up in Chicago, Robin's family moved to Florida. A graduate of the University of Florida, Hamilton appreciates the delicate nature of Southwest Florida's environment. "As an avid scuba diver and boater, I recognize the compelling challenges our water and wildlife face," said Hamilton. "While growth in Collier County is vital, so is protecting our natural environment. The Conservancy is a science-based organization that balances smart growth with environmental protection." Named one of the top charitable events in Naples, Magic Under the Mangroves supports the Conservancy's mission to protect the water, land, wildlife and future in Southwest Florida. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is a not-for-profit environmental protection organization with a 55-year history in Naples. The Conservancy employs a staff of 65 in the areas of environmental science, policy, education and wildlife rehabilitation. The 2019 Magic Under the Mangroves gala is set for Thursday, March 7 at the Conservancy Nature Center.
