Saint Mary's School names new trustees, officers

 
RALEIGH, N.C. - Nov. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- Saint Mary's School in Raleigh has announced new trustees and officers for the 2018-2019 academic year.

New board members are: Brooks Bell, founder and CEO of Brooks Bell, Inc., in Raleigh; Martin W. Borden, senior vice president of Paragon Bank in Raleigh; Janie Swain Molster, president of Janie Molster Designs in Richmond. Va.; D. Ward Russell, president of Legacy Custom Homes, Inc., in Raleigh; and Maura Moylan Sullivan, director of development of Communities in Schools of Durham.

Gloria Taft Becker of Raleigh is chair of the board. Dee Williamson Marley of Charlotte is vice chair. Carter Warren Franke of Owings Mill, Md., is secretary. Stephen F. Later of Southern Pines, N.C.; is treasurer.

Donna Harlow of Clayton, N.C., is the Parents Association representative to the board. Student Government Association President Stephanie Woods, a senior from Union City, Ga., is the student representative.

Founded in 1842 in the Episcopal tradition, Saint Mary's School is an all-girl, independent, college-preparatory boarding and day school, dedicated to academic excellence and personal achievement for girls in grades 9-12.
