Rook Coffee launches first Limited Reserve coffee of the season

LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Nov. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- With Thanksgiving just days away, Rook Coffee is celebrating the holiday season with a special Limited Reserve release. Limited Reserve La Maria is now available by the 12oz bag.

Rook Coffee's Head Coffee Roaster, Alex Bahamonde, had the opportunity to travel to Nariño, a town in western Colombia known for producing coffees with extraordinary flavor profiles that are consistently of the highest quality. Bahamonde, one of Rook Coffee's two certified Q-Graders, tasted and rated 86 coffees from different farms and producers throughout the region. Of the staggering 86, a coffee from the farm La Maria stood out from the rest.

This incredible Micro-lot undergoes a 36-hour fermentation process and then is dried on raised beds. The end result of a meticulous processing period yields a complex, sweet and outstanding cup. La Maria is a medium roast coffee with tasting notes of watermelon candy, caramel and black tea.

The holiday season marks the return of quite a few classic flavors, however Rook's Limited Reserve program highlights extremely exclusive, premium coffees that are only available for purchase by the bag due to their limited quantities.
