National Talent LA Signs Rising Young Production Company Powerhouse, Noirtainment

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- National Talent LA has signed production company Noirtainment.  Noirtainment was founded by Miranda Spigener-Sapo who has produced and written a number of award winning productions such as the stage production of The Flame.  The play originally ran in Houston, Texas and Off-Broadway New York City, receiving praise by The Village Voice and The Houston Press. It's 20th anniversary run in 2017 was in Santa Monica, CA and also received praise from Broadway World and The Los Angeles Times.  The Flame's film rights have been optioned by French Connection.  An upcoming TV Series by Noirtainment, Café dans le temps have been picked up, with its plot and studio under wraps at this time. Noirtainment currently holds a production distribution deal with Amazon Prime and will go into production on Marisa Romanov in early 2019. Marisa Romanov, a Neo-Noir/sci-fi series that was early announced at the European Film Market in 2016, is the first American Series to start the country of Georgia's tax incentives as reported in The Hollywood Reporter. Spigener-Sapon serves as Showrunner and created the series that was inspired from her award-winning 2001 Venice International and Berlin Film Festival short-film of the same name.  The series regular cast will be led by Elias Toufexis (The Expanse, Star Trek Discovery, Deus Ex, Assassins Creed), a well-known star of sci-fi films, television series and video games.  Other stars include Primetime Emmy Winner Kim Estes, veteran actor Fred Koehler and Pete Freeland who also serves as Executive Producer.

Noirtainment recently participated in their first MIPCOM in October 2018 at Cannes, France where they developed relationships with several studios, foreign broadcasters and international studios and production companies.  The company is releasing a documentary feature film series Masculinity That Inspires Change directed by Miranda Spigener-Sapon and written by Gunter Swoboda, based on his Good Men Great global movement. The film will debut on Amazon Prime, Christmas 2018.  They also have a full development slate of projects with deals in place:  Intrigue, The Phone, and Letters to Lauren as well as a mini-series Just Us that has a first look deal attached.  Miranda is also writing the prequel novel Charles: A Marisa Romanov Story that is the first of 4 novels to the series and will be published Fall 2019 by Winterwolf Press.
