The Bear Creek School's Performing Arts Department Presents Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband"

REDMOND, Wash. - Nov. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Bear Creek's Upper School drama students will present Oscar Wilde's comedic masterpiece, An Ideal Husband, on November 30 and December 1, 2018.

Wilde tells a tale of deceit and lies throughout the hypocrisy of the moralistic Victorian society. With wit and gaiety, he paints a scathing critique of gossips, income gaps, sexist attitudes, and the perils of protecting one's morals. Our Bear Creek actors are very excited to share their interpretations of the characters and the complicated plot which includes a fraudulent scheme, blackmail, secrets, forgiveness, current and past lovers, an incriminating letter, and a diamond brooch. Several of the roles in Bear Creek's production of An Ideal Husband are double-cast to allow more students to experience and stretch their dramatic muscle.

In lieu of charging admission, donations will be accepted to benefit Bear Creek's performing arts program.

All performances are open to the public and will be held at The Bear Creek School's Performing Arts Center, 8525 208th Ave NE, Redmond WA, 98053, 452-898-1720 (http://www.tbcs.org). Please plan to park next door at the Main Building (8905 208th Ave NE) and follow the lighted footpath to the Upper School. Please do not park on the street.
