Summer Boarding Courses named 'the very best British Council accredited residential summer school'

OXFORD, U.K. - Nov. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- The British Council has, for the first time ever, awarded the maximum number of strengths in the 15 areas it assesses to a multi-centre summer school provider. The full inspection took place in July 2018, after which Summer Boarding Courses was awarded 15 out of 15 areas of strength, positioning them as one of the foremost course providers in the UK.

Every year, the premium residential summer school provider welcomes thousands of international students aged between 8-17 years old. Since 2009, SBC has welcomed young learners from 139 different countries to study across three prestigious UK boarding schools, and more recently, two Oxford University Colleges.

The British Council inspected and accredited Summer Boarding Courses in July 2018. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding of under 18s, accrediting organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see http://www.britishcouncil.org/education/accreditation for details).

Strengths were noted in the areas of:

Academic staff profile, academic management, course design, safeguarding under 18s, strategic and quality management, staff management, student administration, publicity, premises and facilities, learning resources, learner management, teaching, care of students, accommodation, and leisure opportunities.
