The Ogden Family Foundation Sponsors 5th Annual Adopt-A-Family Fundraiser for Needy Families

LAS VEGAS - Dec. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- The Ogden Family Foundation is once again doing its part to bring the holiday spirit with its 5th Annual Adopt-A-Family event to provide clothing, household items, furniture, food, toys and entertainment tickets for at-risk and needy families in Southern Nevada.  Several organizations have benefited from this event over the years that included St. Jude's Ranch, Safe Nest, Hope Link and many foster and behavioral health agencies.

         This year's holiday event is being hosted by Monterra Apartment Homes at 12:00 p.m. on December 15 at 5250 Stewart Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89110. There will be a toy drive in conjunction with this event. Food, gifts and supplies will be provided to underserved families. Kids of all ages will enjoy a surprise appearance by Santa. Other event sponsors include Tito's Vodka, Community Outreach Center and Top Notch The Health Center.

         "Since Adopt-A-Family began four years ago, we have been able to help approximately over 400 people during the holiday season," said Kema Ogden, President and Co-Founder of the Ogden Family Foundation.

         "We are especially pleased to have a new sponsor with Monterra Apartment Homes joining us for the first time by hosting the event and providing a festive atmosphere for the families."

         The Foundation's goal this year is to also raise $10,000 to help curtail needy families' expenses during the holiday season. All donations are tax deductible.

         The Ogden Family Foundation was co-founded by Kema and her husband Jonathan Ogden, a former professional football player who played offensive tackle with the NFL Baltimore Ravens and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Foundation's goal is to promote health, wellness and education through a variety of yearly programs for Las Vegas and Henderson's underprivileged populations.
