By: Tropical Tablelands Tourism Ghis Gallo, outgoing chair of Tropical Tablelands Tourism (TTT), said 'Naturally Perfect' was one of many direct initiatives undertaken by Tropical Tablelands Tourism in the 2017-18 financial year. Presenting at the annual general meeting on Friday, November 30, Ms Gallo said all of TTT's activities were underpinned by a dynamic new website for the destination. "The 2018 financial year was a busy and productive year for TTT. Other highlights from the year included a growing digital footprint with a 30% increase in Facebook fans and 64.1% increase in Instagram followers, Ride Cairns influencer famil and representation at consumer trade shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. "Discover Visitor Guide was also produced and for the first time incorporated themed iconic trails of the destination," "There were 150,000 of the eight-page trails booklets produced and distributed through the magazine and the Atherton Tablelands' accredited visitor information centres." Ms Gallo said the local tourism organisation would continue to focus on the domestic market through direct consumer activities in 2018/19, rolling out targeted videos and content to inspire travel to the destination, as well as product development with one, three and five day bookable packages and media familarisations.
