Prominent Business Leaders Added to Laura's House 2018-2019 Board of Directors

LADERA RANCH, Calif. - Dec. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Laura's House (http://www.laurashouse.org/), a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and education of domestic violence, announced the addition of four new Orange County community and  business leaders to its 2018-2019 Board of Directors. Joining the board are Shannon Champion, General Counsel for Verizon Wireless' Pacific Market; Doug Pak, CEO and CFO of Serazen; Kelly Kremer, Audit Manager with Haskell & White LLP; and Linda D. Lam, Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Aviso Legal Group, LLP.

"Our mission to end domestic violence is best served by a strong board comprised of diverse and committed individuals dedicated to helping us achieve our goals," said Laura's House Executive Director Margaret Bayston. "Our board is particularly strong and the addition of these four multi-talented leaders, all of whom are passionate about our cause, gives us additional dimension."

The four new directors include:

• Doug Pak, Newport Coast resident, serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive in chain restaurant and franchise businesses. Since 2005, Pak has been the CEO and CFO of Serazen, a group of foodservice investment and management companies including Papa John's Pizza and Hardee's franchises and BLD Brands, parent company of Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurants. Pak is the founder of BLD Brands and Serazen and he has led both to become multi-million-dollar businesses.
• Shannon Champion, Ladera Ranch resident and General Counsel for Verizon Wireless' seven-state Pacific Market including Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, northern Idaho, and northern Nevada. In this role, she provides legal guidance to the Marketing President and wireless field operations teams on various matters including wireless siting, dispute resolution, sales and marketing practices and customer relations.
• Kellie Kremer, Irvine resident and audit manager with Haskell & White LLP, one of the largest independently owned accounting, auditing and tax consulting firms in the region and the leading financial resource for the area's robust nonprofit sector. Kremer has extensive experience in financial accounting, compliance, internal/external auditing, and operational efficiency.
• Linda D. Lam, San Clemente resident and founding and co-managing partner of Aviso Legal Group, LLP. Lam has extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts across the country and in arbitration and mediation, including first chair experience. She has represented and advised clients from a variety of industries, including technology, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, telecommunications, high-tech manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, higher education, energy, and real estate.

The four new directors join a talented board comprised of individuals who supported a host of successful initiatives from Laura's House this past year.
