Refugee Father in City Heights Is Able to Keep Job as Dishwasher with Open The Gates Help

EL CAJON, Calif. - Dec. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- Every year Open The Gates Ministries holds a Christmas Celebration to help refugees in San Diego enjoy the Christmas season by providing food, entertainment and free gifts for the kids.

They also follow up with families that are in need throughout the year.  One example is a family of seven who fled from Syria during the war and traveled from Jordan, to Paris and then to El Cajon.  They struggle to afford basic needs for their five growing boys. One boy, Azeem, was so traumatized by the war that his right arm's muscle was frozen in place and he wears a cast to support it.   Open the Gates has kept in touch with the family throughout the year.

Once again, Open the Gates (OTG) will provide free food, entertainment and gifts for the kids at a Christmas party this Saturday, December 15 at the Ronald Reagan Center in El Cajon from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Refugees are invited to attend with their children.
