Follow on Google News | Which Witch is Which releases debut self-titled LP albumBy: Indie Music News Worldwide Ask to cite some main artistic influences, New Brunswick's Which Witch is Which describe "a blend of punk, post-punk and hard rock influences including the Ramones, Motörhead, The Cult, and Joy Division." They make special mention of singer Lysanne Lombard, whose "vocals evoke a modern-day, punk Janis Joplin." Which Witch is Which's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on surging power, gritty tones and that unstoppable one-two beat, "Which Witch Is Which" by Which Witch is Which has a little something for every fan of the hardest rock. Commenting on the overall meaning of "Which Witch Is Which," the band writes, "We wanted to blend our various influences to create something entirely unique and heavy, while being accessible and catchy." The current official bio of Which Witch is Which describes their start: "After playing in various local bands since the '90s, PJ Dunphy and Dan Cadera got together with Nadine Paulin to form Which Witch is Which in late 2012. Originally intended to be a straight, old-school punk band, the sound quickly evolved to include wildly different influences from Joy Division's post-punk hooks and Motorhead-style arena-rock leads. After playing for three years with two different lead vocalists, the final missing piece came in the form of Lysanne Lombard who joined the band in late 2016, adding her powerful Janis Joplin-like delivery style to an already diverse mix." The self-titled LP "Which Witch Is Which" is available on transparent purple vinyl. Streaming services include Apple Music, Google Play Music and Spotify. Digital Downloads and additional streaming available on Bandcamp (link provided below). Which Witch Is Which are Lysanne Lombard (vocals), PJ Dunphy (guitar), Dan Cadera (bass) and Nadine Paulin (Drums).
