U.S. Water, LLC Becomes CDC-Elite Certified Laboratory

WAUSAU, Wis. - Jan. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- U.S. Water, LLC has been named a CDC Elite water testing laboratory. The Weston-based, locally owned business is now able to offer Legionella water management plans, testing, and sampling for Wisconsin public facilities, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and hotels.

"As the number of Legionella outbreaks continues to rise, it's becoming more and more important for facilities to have a water management plan in place," stated Matt Zastrow, lab manager for U.S. Water, LLC. "Being named CDC Elite is an honor and we are looking forward to helping facilities keep their customers and employees safe."

The ELITE program was created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to identify laboratories that are able to isolate Legionella from a water sample using a culture method.

U.S. Water, LLC is a complete water treatment center with an in-house, state-certified laboratory. They install water softeners and filters, provide well, septic, and home inspections, and offer numerous water tests. In addition to Legionella testing, they also test for Coliform, E. Coli, and Psuedomonas along with many SDWA methods.
