Jared Dylan Steps to to the Stage on the Next LIVE GingerNewYork TV Show in New York City

NEW YORK - Jan. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Jared Dylan: is New Jersey born and bred. He attended college at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami during which time he released music that received radio play on Radio Disney and other satellite and terrestrial radio outlets. The success of his releases and his stage presence led to his opening for acts such as Andy Grammer, We The Kings, and Jordan Fischer.

In late 2017, Jared traveled to Ireland for writing sessions and ended up spending the majority of 2018 in the Emerald Isle.

Jared's song "Double Time" will be released on February 28, 2019. A video, as well as an animated lyric video, is in production.

"Double Time" is the second song released from the soundtrack Consequence. Consequence is an animated short film that has been submitted to SXSW and other film festivals. Jared is actually the main character, "Kid Dylan."  The movie will be cut into 4 sections, and each section will be used as a lyric video for each of the four songs on the soundtrack. When watched consecutively, the lyric videos will be the short film.

The first song released from Consequence, "Can't Stop," has only been promoted in Ireland. Jared spent a good part of 2018 in Ireland and London writing with popular artists and filming a documentary.

When not filming or composing, Jared toured Ireland, playing over 40 shows. "Can't Stop" received significant radio play and continues to get spins. The Irish fans are anxious for a new release and we will run a radio promo overseas in conjunction with the release here.

There are plans for the soundtrack for Consequence to be listed as a Record Store Day release in April via vinyl distributor LASGO.

In addition, Jared is producing and reimagining the 13 number #1 hits of Donovan. Songs like "Mellow Yellow," "Hurdy Gurdy Man," and "Sunshine Superman" are being transformed from psychedelic rock to dream pop and are being performed by Donovan's daughter, Astrella. There is a lot of buzz and critical acclaim behind this. Donovan himself has stated that the songs "sound better than when I did them" and he has asked Jared to consider producing and recording an unreleased Donovan track.

On January 10, 2019, Jared signed a distribution deal that will introduce his music to Latin America as well as the rest of the world. Jared is scheduled to release 6 to 8 singles in 2019.

On a more personal note, Jared suffered from a bout with Lyme disease in his teen years and still deals with symptoms from the virus. He is an advocate for early detection and identification of the virus.
