First Annual WCPSS 2019 Triangle Activity, Camps, and Track-Out Fair Launches April 6, 2019

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jan. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- Wake County Public School Systems' Lifelong Learning with Community Schools is launching its first 2019 Triangle Activity, Camps, and Track-Out Fair (www.wcpss.net/trifair) on Saturday, April 6th from 10 am to 2 pm at Garner Magnet High School.

The event is brought to you by their Summershine publication (www.wcpss.net/camps) and is an opportunity to bring together parents, their children, and Triangle area after-school providers to inform and educate about available enrichment activities. In addition to connecting with after-school activity, camps, daycare, and track-out vendors, parents and children will have family activities in which to engage. Sponsored activities include face painting, a photo booth, an inflatable obstacle course sponsored by Kids R Kids, and vendor-specific activities. There will also be The Cow and The Oak and Not Just Icing food trucks for nourishment.

"Summershine was created to provide a free useful parent directory of student enrichment activities in the local area. This event is no different. We aim to offer parents a face-to-face opportunity to discover and question those vendors to find the right fit for their child," said Brian Thacker, Senior Administrator, Lifelong Learning of Community Schools, Wake County Public School System.

Sponsors include YMCA of the Triangle, Polar Ice House, All-Arts, Sciences & Technology Camp, College Nannies & Tutors, Garner Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources, the Town of Cary Parks and Recreation, and more.
