The Center for Contemporary Art to receive 2019 Economic Champion Award

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - Jan. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- The Center for Contemporary Art ("The Center") is pleased to announce it has been selected to receive the 2019 Economic Champion Award from Somerset County Tourism, part of the Somerset County Business Partnership.

The Center was selected for the award because of its significant impact on Somerset County in the areas of employment, financial contributions, and community events and programs. This is the first time the award has been given to an arts organization or a non-profit organization.

"This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our board and staff to fulfill The Center's mission, 'To provide a vibrant, contemporary cultural center through arts education, exhibitions and community outreach that will inspire creativity and enhance people's lives.' It also supports the message that we in the arts community have been communicating for years about the significant economic impact of New Jersey arts organizations of all sizes," says Executive Director, Elie Porter Trubert.
